I do agree that it is coolness. But unfortunately, the effect is only truly visible when using a Mozilla type browser (e.g. Firefox). I'm probably the only one taking advantage of this fact. lol. Considering Lincoln's comment above about users being dumb, how many are going to perform compression before uploading? I suppose its not a matter of hosting or harddisks or interfaces, its bringing all the individual parts together and creating a workable one click solution.
