Ok, so I got up a little (actually, ALOT) earlier than usual today and couldn’t get back to sleep. I’m probably going to regret it later on in the office when I’m half dead from lack of sleep. Deepavali just came and went and Hari Raya’s just around the corner. With so many holidays and so much free time on everyone’s hands, I figure you might need a game to pass the time. So I present to you Lemonade Tycoon Deluxe.

This is actually a fairly old game that I played a long, long, long time ago when I was doing my industrial training. However, that doesn’t mean that the game is old or boring. On the contrary, it is fresh enough to have stayed in some corner of my cobwebbed mind and pop up when I was looking for a cool game to introduce. That being the case, I see no harm in doing a little resurrection. Now, I don’t exactly live in a country that particularly enjoys lemonade but nonetheless, I’ve seen my share of tv shows. In most of them, a lemonade stand seems to be the best way a kid can earn some extra pocket change (that and delivering newspapers… cliched but yeah…).

Basically, the game sets you in the shoes of a kid trying to do just that, make an extra buck and build an empire while you’re at it. There are ten different locations where you can set up stalls. Select your location, hire staff, upgrade your stall, restock your inventory, create the perfect lemonade recipe, advertise your existance, click start day and away you go. The game will simulate weather changes, popularity, customer satisfaction, mood of the day and a host of other variables. At the end of the day, you can view your game play summary and see how you’ve progressed. Profit or loss, its all in your hands. And that’s the bottom line!

The game play may get a little repetitive after a while since a day usually comprises only of purchasing stock and opening the stall. The upgrades that are available add a little variety to the game and helps with your sales. The game gets a little more difficult as your business grows and you start moving to better locations where the money is. That’s when you start hiring staff, paying rent and trying to get your balance sheet to add up.

1. Download both the game installer and crack
2. Install the game
3. Unzip the keygen zip file and open the text file within
4. Run up the game and choose to enter code
5. Copy the name and key from the keygen text file to the appropriate fields
6. Hit Enter, badabing badaboo, you’re good to go

I suppose the key is to get that perfect lemonade recipe. What works for me is 5 lemons, 3 sugars and 3 ice cubes. Experiment a little. You might find a better formula. Overall, this is an excellent game to while away the hours when you have nothing better to do and your office day is crap. As they say, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!”
