Great Vacation 2006: Change Of Plans

In light of recent developments (long story, short story, many stories for later blog), WL and I have decided to postpone our grand escapade to Australia. Instead, we shall be going on multiple mini trips throughout the year. The first of which is going to be to Cambodia.

Initially we were planning to go to Hong Kong with my parents, my sister and her husband. However, after much clicking (2 hours worth!) and not being able to get the free tickets from AirAsia, we decided to stalk Hyperhex instead (thanks man for the dates). Flight tickets to Cambodia were a lot easier to book. We didn’t manage to get the exact same dates because the free tickets on the return flight were taken. After some deliberation, we decided to stay an extra day since the cost for the return tickets would probably cover accomodations. The only thing we’ll forfeit is an extra day of annual leave. Not a big deal, all things considered.

Price of tickets: Free. Airport tax and fuel surcharge: RM286.00 (USD75) for two persons return. Stay tuned for more details as we source out our accomodations and itinerary. Here’s to a great mini vacation for year 2006.

Yeap. We’ll be stalking you ;) Just haven’t had time to give you a call to tell you about it. I’ll be looking into accomodations once I settle my resignation and all that stuff.
