					<description>No, I don't believe that it was any particular blog engine is causing the double pings. However, double pings are not occuring with any consistency to make an educated guess on the cause. I suppose its best just to sit back and watch it happen for a while before making a conclussion.</description>

					<description>With Tabulas, users specify their own ping URLs; it could very well be that they've set both manual pings to services, as well as pinging to services like Ping-O-matic (which then pings out again). 

The second URL shows a different minute, so it could also be that the user edited their content and re-pinged... 

If I'm mistaken, please let me know (sadly, my understanding of ping services is not so current anymore).
