eGENTING Programming Competition 2005 Winners
I came back from Genting Highlands 7 hours ago and have been asleep since then. As I was checking up on some past posts, I came across one comment asking a very good question. Since the post event press release has not been made yet, I suppose that the only people who know the results are those who attended the event. I’m not sure whether I should be jumping the gun here but what the heck, here are the results.
“who are the winners of the competition this year ?”

Prior to the presentation night, Mr Jonathan Searcy held a Public Lecture at Resorts World’s convention centre, starting at 10.00am and ending at 4.30pm. Approximately 146 participants from various institutions, consisting of lecturers, graduates, undergraduates, and industry representatives were in attendance.
This was followed by the Presentation Night which was once again held at Genting Palace Restaurant, Genting Hotel. More than 200 guests turned up for the event, which was more than the expected number. Among the special invited guests were En Badlisham Ghazali, the newly appointed (appointed on 16th January 2006) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC), and Mr Robert Foong, Principal Private Secretary to YB Dato’ Kong Cho Ha (Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). Needless to say, it was a very successful night (IMHO).
