MATTA Fair Package: Cambodia (Ground Tour)
In continuation from the previous post, here are some of the available guided ground tour packages. There are again numerous combinations, ranging in duration, price, and itinerary. The longer duration packages includes a combination tour covering the major cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Since listing all the packages together will drag out this post, the following are the 3 Day / 2 Night packages available for Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. I’ll put up the combined packages after this one.
Phnom Penh (3 Days / 2 Nights)
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur - Phnom Penh
- Arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport

- Afternoon visit to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum

I think the price for the Siem Reap S.S package is wrong. No way that it can be cheaper than an extra night’s stay. But that really doesn’t concern me.

- Prices are inclusive of hotel accomodations based on twin sharing, meals, air-conditioned coach transfers between airport and hotel, air-conditioned coach during tour, English/Mandarine speaking guide, and all entrance fees

Idle Chit Chat
Comparing the prices, I can’t really decide whether its better to put together our own itinerary or to go with a guided tour. On the one hand, a Free and Easy package will allow us more time to see the sights that we want to see. On the other hand, the guided tours are packaged in such a way that it is probably the most efficient way to see everything. Granted we won’t have the freedom to hang around a spot for half a day before moving to the next, but then again…
Note to self: Check out the entrance fees for the various places of interest.
