MATTA MITM Fair 2006: Uniquely Singapore
Since I was looking for offers to Singapore, the obvious place to look was the booth set up by the Singapore Tourism Board themed Uniquely Singapore. Here are some of the more interesting and colourful packages that were on offer.
Singapore Zoo And Night Safari
Normally, the tickets go for RM33.00 (S$15.00) for entree to Singapore Zoo and RM44.00 (S$20.00) for the Night Safari respectively. For MATTA Fair only (apparently), they are selling the entree tickets at RM25.00 (save RM8.00) and RM35.00 (save RM9.00). Additionally, if you purchase entry to both the wild life parks in a neat Park Hopper package for RM60.00 (RM25 + RM35), they’ll throw in a free Singapore Zoo tram ride worth RM9.00. Not really much to shout about but at least its something. WL and I decided to just stick with the Night Safari. The ticket is valid throughout 2006, ending 31 December.
The cool thing was that the lady at the counter gave us a cute little plush toy (a fat grey hippo) from the Night Safari. No, the plush toy doesn’t come with the package. The nice friendly lady gave it to us as a little extra.

Le Show - L’art Du Nu - Crazy Horse Paris
If you’re thinking “What the heck?!”, well, think no further. L’art Du Nu is tauted as “the most beautiful artistic nude show in the world“. Yes, you read that right. NUDE SHOW. I’m sure that caught your interest. When WL showed me the brochure, it wasn’t until she pointed it out to me that I noticed the girls on the front cover were nude. Don’t get nose bleed from reading this, ok.
Founded by Alain Bernardin in 1951, Crazy Horse Paris has been acclaimed as the most beautiful artistic nude show in the world. Promising audiences an intimate theatrical experience, it is visual speactable with dance, music, lights, and precision choreography.

A la carte menu is also available. I’m not sure whether the prices are per person or per meal. I’m guessing per person. Notice the tripple ‘+++’ after the price tag instead of the standard ‘++’? That should already be indication enough that food at Le Restaurant will be an expensive affair.
Inspite of the price tag, I think that this is interesting enough to qualify for a mention here. If you do go there, please do tell me what the show is like ;)
Conclussion
There are several other packages and offers available at the Uniquely Singapore booths. These include transportation and tour packages. Although the prices have increased, it is still a good showing from the Singapore Tourism Board.
