Getting There - LCCT (I): Low Cost Carrier Terminal
Well, as many would have heard by now, Air Asia arrival/departure has been moved from KLIA to a Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) located quite a distance away. Today is its fifth day of operation and getting there might be a hassle for first timers (myself included). Since I’m going to make that trip sooner or later, I’ve dug around and came up with the following short guide on getting there, including options, costs (for those on a shoestring budget), and travel times.
I had initially planned to do this as a single post. However, after expanding each section, I would up with a post that spanned several pages. As such, I’ve decided to split it up into sections. Part one of the series covers the general preamble and disclaimers.
For the benefit of those who are still in the dark on what’s going on, please refer to KLIA LCCT’s Official Page and/or Air Asia’s LCCT page for more details. From there, you’ll be able to get all the information you need about the new location. The rest of the guide expands on it.
Before going any further, please bear in mind that the information provided here is derived and some are estimates to the best of the author’s ability. The schedules and prices provided are correct at the time of posting but may change over time. This guide may or may not be updated to reflect this change. Neither Boredworkers.com nor the author are affiliated with the services that are mentioned and shall bear no liability or responsibility for any loss that may result from following the guide. Please plan ahead and use your better judgement when preparing to travel.

Thank you for your posts. I find them really helpful, as this is going to be my first time to KL, and I’m thinking of going to KLIA from LCCT.
