Spare A Thought And Your Voice For SCB
Alrighty then. The news appeared in my mail box more than 24 hours ago. Siao Cha Bor, a friendly blogger whom I met up with some time ago was hospitalised on 8th April 2006 and is currently in a coma. I intended to pay a visit yesterday night after work but visiting hours were over and I’m no where as persuasive as JoMel so I’ve postponed it till tonight. If anyone wants to visit her with me, feel free to come along.
Anyway, the real point of this post is as an update on the situation. Lin Peh just called to inform me that her condition is stable. From previous visits by various parties, we have established that her brain is functioning and she can hear our voices. She has shown some response when someone calls out to her.
As an effort to bring her back, Lin Peh is organising a recording of voices campaign. If you know her, but you’re unable to be by her side in person, please do record a message for her in MP3 format and send it to Lin Peh at xymalaysia [at] yahoo [dot] com. He will compile the messages into a recording that can then be replayed to our beloved friend in hopes of hastening her recovery.
Like Wingz, Lin Peh, and Ah May, WL and I had met up with her only days before her collapse. She was still bright and cheerful at that time and it shocked me to hear of her current condition. Even if you do not know her in person, do spare a thought and your voice. We’ll continue to keep you updated on her situation.

The most frustrating thing happened. I sat for two hours, sieving through SCB’s old blog posts, compiled them and wanted to post. It disappeared! Actually, I wanted to suggest we read her old postings for her to listen. You know…if she can listen back to all her hope, her love for her baby and things like that, it will be very much encouraging. But arrgggh..my two hours work disappeared! So, I am going to record a sample of it later when my kids and lou kong have gone to sleep. Then, people will get an idea what I am talking about.
