PIKOM PC Fair 2006 (II)
Since I’ve been getting enquiries about the next PIKOM PC Fair for 2006, here’s an update on the event. The thrice yearly event will see its second installment in August at various locations across Malaysia. This is following its very successful PIKOM PC Fair (I) in April. A quick reference below as to the venue and dates.

So now that you know the dates and the venue, start saving up for that dream system. With Windows Vista beta already available and its official release just around the corner, as well as Intel’s move to drop processor prices towards the end of the year, I wonder what will be the trend for the mid year fair. I personally feel that the focus will be on peripherals and perhaps memory modules (RAM) in preparation for OS upgrades as opposed to full systems. What do you think?
For me, I’m still searching for that elusive laptop. Or perhaps I might just settle for a suped up desktop to replace my aging machine. How about you? Do you intend to make a purchase?
