We are in the Cyber Age. The World Wide Web is like the Wild Wild West of old. Businesses and services are going online. User names and passwords are now the key to the new world. While we are tempted to standardise our username and passwords throughout our Internet experience, security specialists the world over advice against this practice for fear of identity theft and other similar cyber crimes. Purple Cane Moon Cakes

Mid Autumn Festival is just around the corner. Some know it as the Lantern Festival for the lanterns that are lit during its celebration. Others refer to it as the Mooncake Festival for the round moon cake delicacies that are usually given to friends and relatives when visiting during the festival as an expression of best wishes and blessing of abundance. Regardless of what it is called, the festival is a goldmine for moon cake makers. So much so that Purple Cane, a brand popularly known for ‘Tea’, has introduced its own line of tea flavoured mooncakes.

A friend of mine has been dropping hints about a new play collection by The Oral Stage (TOS) entitled fiftynineminutes. Very subtle brainwashing on his part. As a result of his manipulative ways, I’ve become curious as to what the good kids (well, mostly kids) at TOS have in store for their audience. An earlier production of theirs, Rojak, was very enjoyable.

Hari Raya is just around the corner. Prior to that, Muslims fast (puasa) for a month to cleanse their body, renew their minds, and strengthen their faith. YouTube’s a major buzz that’s going on in the world of cyberspace. It is slowly becoming the defacto medium for sharing videos on the Internet. It is probably the greatest cause for unproductiveness since Instant Messaging (IM). The service allows users to upload and share videos. Their audience then stream the videos on demand.

Recently, a friend of mine asked a very good question. Can we download the videos from YouTube?

Traffic Summons Bribe Calculator

Last week, the police department announced that they were reducing the prices of traffic summonses. There were mixed reactions from the general public regarding this move. The authorities believed that the move would encourage motorists to own up as well as reduce corruption in the form of bribes to the police’s traffic force. Some were against the decision, fearing that it would encourage more offences and traffic violations.
