It’s Not Always The Public Transport’s Fault

Yesterday I was dissing the public transport system for being faulty, inefficient, and making a general nuisance out of itself. However, it must be said that it isn’t always their fault. Often times, there’s an genius behind the cause. Yesterday was one such instance of a genius making a nuisance out of himself.

I was picking WL up from the Kerinchi Putra LRT station. Turning into the station, I found myself stuck behind two Rapid KL buses flashing their hazard lights. My first thought was, “Grrr… This just proves the point I made earlier!”. However, upon further inspection, it turns that the buses were not broken down and were not the cause for the holdup.

Instead, it was a genius driving a Toyota Camry who had decided his grandfather owned the road and parked his car at the curbside right where the road turned into the station. Since it was a narrow road to begin with, he successfully obstructed the bus from making the turn. Of course, the bus driver could have been a mean bastard and forced his way through, damaging the car in the process (like that one time when I was back in secondary school). Instead, they just waited there for the genius to return.

Since it was a one way street, I was likewise stuck there for about five minutes before our good old china-man genius came back from his dinner to remove his car. From what I heard, the bus had been stuck there for about 30 minutes to an hour before I arrived and they were contemplating calling the police and a tow truck to remove the car.

For all it was worth, the genius owner of the car had the gall to complain about the bus driving so close to his car and nearly hitting it. WTFish? Dude! Get with the program man. You were breaking the law to begin with. Furthermore, you inconvenienced numerous people and delayed them from getting home to their dinners just because you were inconsiderate enough to park your car at a no parking zone. You were fortunate not to have someone smash your car window and roll your car out of the way, or worse! Count yourself lucky that the mob who were patiently lining up for the bus did not turn on you and beat the living crap out of your sorry behind.

Having said all that, here’s a close up of the genius’ car plate number. Steer clear of him the next time you see him on the road. The genius may suddenly decide to hit the emergency brakes and go out for lunch or something.

That guy still ‘want-face’, never say sorry.
    Feel like scolding him.
