Bleach… Finally…
Bleach episode 108 was subbed last week. With that episode, the Bounto filler series has finally come to an anti-climatic end. With all the running around, bouncing off walls, flying through the clouds and acting all hyperactive, you would have expected something more substantial. Instead, you get more or less the same “use the last of my energy in an almighty clash” scene ala Kurosaki Ichigo vs Zaraki Kenpachi. I suppose we should be thankful that the story arc is over.
The next episode in the TV anime is due to be released in Japan on January 2007. The 4th, if I remember correctly. That means that 108 was the last episode for the year 2006. Expect a new subbed episode and probably an all new story arc in the 2nd week of 2007.
On a different note, fans will be pleased to know that there’s a Bleach Movie. Go check it out. That’s it for now.

Thank GOD that the Bounto arc is finally over! But I must admit that the arc was very exciting towards the end. In the beginning of the arc, it was very boring.

G: I actually found the whole thing slow -.-” But I guess there was little choice. The manga is still far from finished. If the anime followed the same storyline, it would have outstripped the manga before the current plot ends.
