Very smart of them to bill themselves as the favorite "premium" ice cream.

This is because, they are not "super-premium" ice cream. (Yes, there is such a category :) ). Ben &#38; Jerry's and Haagen Daaz (both from the US) is considered super-premium. I think the definition of super-premium is at least 45% milk fats, or less than 20% air, or something like that. That's why Ben &#38; Jerry's and Haagen Daaz is more "solid". Baskin Robbins is softer. And therefore why it's cheaper lah.

&lt;strong&gt;G:&lt;/strong&gt; Yeah. They are missing quite a few flavours :) Must go check out their larger outlets one of these days.

Thanks for the explanation about super-premium ice cream. Didn't know about it. Might look into it a little more one of these days. That explains why Haagen Daaz is 50% more expensive as well ;)</description>
