eFiling Part 3: 2006 BE Form - Personal Details
We’ll start to look at the eFiling electronic form proper. The first thing to do is to fill in your personal details (Maklumat Individu). Some of the details will already have been filled in and it shouldn’t be too difficult to key in the rest. The only real barrier being a language one, since the form is entirely in Malay.

- Personal Details (Enlarge) -
Here are the fields in order of appearance (from left to right, top down) and how to fill them in:
- Nama (Name)
Your name as shown in your identity card or passport.
- No. Rujukan Cukai (Tax Number)
This field is automatically filled in. It refers to the reference number of your tax file.
- No. K/P Baru / No. Polis / No. Tentera / No. Pasport (New I/C Number / Police Number / Military Number / Passport Number)
This field is automatically filled in. For Malaysian citizens, it is your identity card number. The field will reflect the police number of police officers, military number for members of the armed forces, and passport number for foreign workers/permanent residents.
- Warganegara (Citizenship)
The country where you hold citizenship (Malaysia if you’re Malaysian). Choose from the pull down list.
- Jantina (Gender)
Your actual gender, not your sexual preference or preferred gender (in case you have gender confusion). Lelaki = Male, Perempuan = Female
- Status Pada 31-12-2006 (Marital Status as of 31-12-2006)
Your marital status: Bujang = Single, Kahwin = Married, Janda/Duda = Widower/Widow.
- Ketetapan Umum Dipatuhi (Following General Provisions For Income)
Ya = Yes, Tidak = No.
To determine whether your income follows the general provisions, refer to Appendix H of the BE 2006 Form Guide. If you fail one or more of the conditions, choose NO. Otherwise, YES.
- Alamat Surat-menyurat (Mailing Address)
Mailing address used for communication with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia
- Poskod (Postcode)
Postal code of your mailing address
- Bandar (City)
The city of your mailing
- Negeri (State)
State where your mailing address is located. One of the following:
- WP - Kuala Lumpur
- WP - Labuan
- WP - Putrajaya
- Perak
- Selangor
- Pahang
- Kelantan
- Johor
- Kedah
- Malacca
- Negri Sembilan
- Penang
- Perlis
- Terengganu
- Sabah
- Sarawak
- No. Telefon (Telephone Number)
Your contact number
- No. Majikan (Employer Number)
Your employer reference number. This can be found in the EA form issued by your employer.
- e-mel (Email Address)
Your email address (non-compulsory)
- Nama Bank (Bank Name)
Name of bank that you have an account with (non-compulsory). This is only useful for tax refunds and deductions.
- No. Akaun Bank (Bank Account Number)
Your bank account number (non-compulsory). Only fill this if you filled in the previous field and would like to use it for tax refunds/deductions.
Pretty straight forward. Standard personal information that you should already know by heart (except for the bank account number, maybe). Once you’ve filled in the details, click the Simpan & Teruskan (Save & Continue) button at the bottom of the screen. This will commit your details to the server. The details will be retained even if you log out and return later.

Hi,
Thanks for your detail information. But I don’t think “Ketetapan Umum Dipatuhi” means “Permanent Residence”.
Please download BPBE2006.pdf from LHDN, and refer to page 10, Ruang A6. Also refer to page 77 (Lampiran H).
Thanks.
G: Thanks for pointing it out. Updated. Cheers.
For those who don’t know, what he means is this BPBE2006.pdf document.
