The Great Singapore Sale 2007
Hard to believe that a year has gone by and The Great Singapore Sale 2007 (TGSS07) is just around the corner. Time sure does fly. As per previous TGSS, TGSS07 will run for 60 days starting 25 May 2007 through to 22 July 2007.
Details and highlights on the sale is still sketchy as the Singapore Retailers Association are just making preparations for it. The one certainty is that shopaholics will enjoy discounts of up to 70% at all participating retail outlets during the entire eight-week period. By retail outlets, we mean nearly the entire Singapore island. That’s up to 70% off nearly everything, everywhere. Everything is on sale and everything must go, with the exception of the country itself.
If last year’s sale is anything to go by, this year’s sale will be a grand affair. Check out the website and stay tuned for more details.
In addition to the sale itself, the period also coincides with the Singapore Arts Festival (June) and the Singapore Food Festival (July). If you’ve never been to the Lion City of Singapore, this period might be a good time to do so. After all, even the Pirates of the Caribbean are coming to Singapore when the movie premiers on 24th May 2007. Coincidence? You tell me.
WL and I are planning to go South to purchase items for our upcoming wedding. Among other things, we’ll be looking around for a pair of wedding bands. Any recommendations? If you’re heading in that direction, give us a holler.
