Hard to believe that about a year has passed since the last competition. Time sure does fly. The eGENTING Programming Competition is back for it’s sixth installment. As with previous competitions, this year’s event will be held in Genting Highlands Resort.

Still very much alive. Just that I’ve gone fishin’ as the title says. Not in the literal sense but rather the long absence and too busy to do anything else sort of fishin’. Last Tuesday (17th July 2007), Starlight Cinema opened for its first 2007 screening. Themed as Asia’s Largest Outdoor Cinema Festival, the fest spans a 12 day period between 17 July through to 28 July 2007. This time around, the venue has been relocated to the campus of KBU International College in Bandar Utama.

The second PIKOM PC Fair 2007 is just around the corner. It will kick off on 3rd August 2007 in several major cities (including Kuala Lumpur) before wending it’s way across the country. PIKOM PC Fair 2007 (II) will be held according to the following schedule. There are many paid services out there that allows you to download anime episodes off the web (via direct downloads). There are also sites that provide direct downloads for a particular anime series. With the recent drop in hosting fees and increased bandwidth, we’re starting to see more and more anime direct download services being given for free, without registration, no strings attached. One such provider is RealityLapse.com.
