eGENTING Programming Competition 2007
Hard to believe that about a year has passed since the last competition. Time sure does fly. The eGENTING Programming Competition is back for it’s sixth installment. As with previous competitions, this year’s event will be held in Genting Highlands Resort.
- eGENTING Programming Competition 2007 -
If you’re unfamiliar with the competition, it’s an open book hand written programming contest. The brain child of Mr. Jonathan Searcy, the competition is open to the public and features some handsome bounties for the top dogs (sponsored by DELL, HP and Star Cruises). The competition is divided into two categories. Under 26 category for those 26 years and under and a separate category for the rest. Since it was started for the purpose of recruitment, the prizes for the Under 26 category includes a lucrative job offer with Genting Group.
Competition registration is currently open and will remain so until 31 August 2007. The one day event will be held on 22 September 2007 in Genting Highlands. Ms. Tan Chee Leng can be contacted for further details regarding the competition.
