World of Warcraft: Near Giving Up
It is now day seven into my World of Warcraft 10 day free trial period. I mentioned in an earlier post that someone somewhere didn’t want me to play World of Warcraft. I have reason to believe it is divine intervention.
Having applied all the necessary patches and waited a day extra for the scheduled server maintenance, I was all rearing to go yesterday. I got into the office and gathered information about the realm servers, factions, character races, and character classes from my friend. By the end of the day, I was itching to have a go and couldn’t wait for WL to pick me up from the office.
As I was packing up, I remembered that the key to my notebook Kensington lock was attached to my car keys. I called WL to get the key only to find out that she had swapped cars with my dad. That meant the I couldn’t bring the notebook home to play! GAH!
The irony of it is that I usually have the key on my person. It was specifically today that I decided to hook the Kensington key to the car keychain. My mom had called me earlier telling me my dad’s intention to swap cars. WL had called me to confirm the swap. Yet all that time, I didn’t think anything of it! If you don’t call this chain of events divine intervention, I don’t know what.
Maybe I should just give up trying to play the game before something explodes. But then again, having gone through so much effort, it’s kinda wasteful to just… let… it… go…
