PIKOM PC Fair 2008 (II)
Installment #2 of the PIKOM PC Fair 2008 will be held in the month of August at various major cities across Malaysia.

I missed the last installment because I was in Hong Kong on vacation. Back then, I was looking for a wireless mouse/keyboard setup for my parents. That item is still on the list. Quite frankly, I could probably buy the keyboard from any IT store without having to visit the PC Fair.
Aside from that, the LCD monitor at my parent’s place has burnt out again. I’m now thinking whether I should replace the monitor or get a TV output card and divert the monitor output to the living room tele. The latter is partially the reason why I was looking for the wireless keyboard to begin with. Note to self, check out the price of a TV output card. I already have one installed on the PC but I’m not sure whether it works.
Regardless, there’s no doubt that I’ll still make my rounds of the PC Fair grounds to see what’s new. Who knows, maybe I’ll come home with a gadget or two.
