Cheap Australian Internal Flights

We are planning an Australian trip in Winter through Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and everything in between. We’ve settled the return flights to Australia; flying in at Perth on AirAsia and flying back from Melbourne on MAS. One important factor is the internal connections between the different internal destinations. I’ve been keeping a lookout for cheap internal flights and it’s finally paid off. Many of the Australian airlines (Qantas, Virgin Blue, Jetstar, Tiger Airways) are having a promotion between 27th February 2009 through to 2nd March 2009. PIKOM PC Fair 2009 (I)

It’s hard to believe that we’re half way through the first quarter of 2009. Time is really zipping by. Perhaps it’s the sheer number of holidays that we’ve been having since December 2008 through January 2009. This also means that the first installment of PIKOM PC Fair 2009 is also just around the corner.

Malaysia Tax E-Filing 2008

The e-Filing system for 2008 tax submissions is up and running. The forms online forms have been available since 3rd February 2009. For those who are ready to make your online tax filing, you can do so now via the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) eFiling site.

Malaysian Political Absurdity

The political scene in Malaysia, and specifically Perak, is getting absurd. The last couple of days has been rife with news of political instability in the Perak state government. The entire affair makes a mockery out of the ideals of Democracy.
